Congratulations are in order for the FOCUS staff!  

At the Journal News High School Journalism Award Ceremony on May 29th, FOCUS garnered five awards:  

1st place Best News story: FOCUS staff: Madeline Sims, Lisa Ganz, Ben Lubkin, Corinne Segal

Honorable Mention Best Artwork/Cartoon: Jon Amar

Honorable Mention Best Feature: Christina Tempesta  

In our first year doing their own page design and layout, FOCUS took home two awards: 

Honorable Mention Best Page Design: Ashley Woychowski for Homecoming center spread

2nd place (tie) Best Page Design: Ashley Woychowski for Darwin Day center spread
