Math There is a math course for all three grades as well as an accelerated Math course for 7th and 8th grade. In math class we learn about polygons, fractions, slope and y intercept, probability, inequalities and much more. All of the math teachers explain everything very well so that everyone can understand the concept. |
Social Studies Social Studies class is a very interesting course in which students learn history from acient to modern times. Many students find this class very fun and enjoyable. The teachers are fun and interesting. |
English English is a class where we read books and learn to write great essays and strories. The English teachers chose very exciting and interesting books for the class to read and discuss. Usually all books a grade reads has to do with the same theme. For example, the 8th grade this year is reading books all about tolerence. |
Science In Science, we learn lots of information about plants, animals, body systems, Earth's dynamics, minerals, evolution, genetics and astronomy. These classes are very fun and hands on! |
| Music There are three music choices for students at BBMS. General Music is an exciting course that engages in dance, world drumming and music composition. Band is open to all students who perform on a Concert Band instrument, and chorus is open to students interested in performing in a singing ensemble. | P.E. All students participate in Physical Education every other day. Some of the fun games that we learn are dodge ball, matt ball, basketball, badmitton and tennis. Gym is so much fun that many students participate in afterschool intramurals and sports. |
LOTE (Languages Other Than English) French, Italian and Spanish are offered as foreign langauages. All of them are fun and entertaining. We do many interesting projects. Many students enjoy learning another langauge and discovering how they are similar to English. |
Exploratories Exploratories include Art, Computer, Home and Careers, Technology, Drama and Health and all of them are very fun. In these classes students learn about many different topic and do creative projects. |
