Pupil Personnel Services

Welcome to the Blind Brook Department of Pupil Services

I am honored to serve as the Director of Pupil Services for the Blind Brook-Rye Union Free School District. At the heart of our work is a steadfast belief that every student deserves access to a high-quality, inclusive education—one that honors their unique strengths, supports their individual needs, and prepares them for a bright future.

The Pupil Services Department is committed to collaboration—with families, educators, community partners, and state and local agencies—to provide a continuum of supports and services grounded in the Part 200 Regulations and informed by evidence-based practices. Together, we work to ensure that all students can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically in an environment where they feel seen, valued, and empowered.

At Blind Brook, we hold high expectations for every learner and believe that equity, access, and strong partnerships are essential to student success. I look forward to working alongside our entire school community to uphold these values and help students find success.

Wishing everyone a rewarding and successful 2025–2026 school year!

Warmly,
Alexandra LaFontaine-Casabona
