Superintendent's Message

Season’s Greetings from BBUFSD

Dear Blind Brook Families and Friends,

On behalf of our entire school community, I wish you a warm and restorative holiday season and a healthy, hopeful new year. This is a joyful and spirited time in our schools, filled with music, performances, festive gatherings, and the unmistakable excitement that builds as the school year pauses for celebration and time with family. As homes are brightened with lights and anticipation fills the air, we are reminded of the simple wonder and generosity that define this season and the joy it brings to our students.

This time of year can also bring a wide range of emotions, as each of us experiences the season from our own place along life’s journey. Our hope is that we remain mindful of one another, especially those for whom the holidays may feel complicated, and that we find moments of connection, comfort, and gratitude where we can. As families gather and traditions are observed, we are reminded that the most meaningful gift we give our students is the example we set: that love is stronger than fear, and that shared light has the power to overcome even the darkest moments.

I wish you peace, reflection, and moments of joy during the days ahead. We look forward to welcoming our students back in January, ready to learn, grow, and continue building a community rooted in care, hope, and belonging.

Warm regards,
