• Elementary Guidance Program Curriculum 
     
    The guidance counselor, Kathy Gerber, is responsible for all aspects of the guidance program in grades K-5.   The counselor’s function is to assist students with academic and personal concerns.  The goal is to help students realize their academic potential and make informed decisions regarding their studies.  Another goal is to help students explore options available to resolve personal and social issues. 
     
    Our Guidance counselors runs the developmental guidance program called "Magic Circle" for grades K-4. It runs once per 6 days cycle for thirty minutes in the classroom. The Grade 4 program runs thirty minutes per cycle from November through February and again in June.
     
     First Grade:

    Fifth Grade:
    * Fifth graders have the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program with the Rye Brook Police Officer beginning in January.
