HOMEWORK

HOMEWORK

In general, homework expands the work taught in school; incomplete assignments as well as supplementary research and work which cannot be completed in school should be completed at home. The experience of doing homework independently is valuable to children. The amount of homework necessary will be dependent upon the subject, grade, and individual child. Parents may assist by providing a place at home for the child to work free from distractions and by establishing a time schedule for homework, while sharing an interest in the homework to be done and its completion.
Please ask your son/daughter’s school office for a copy of the full homework policy.
