On the night of Wednesday, May 29th, students at the Blind Brook High School unveiled the results of their research at the annual High School Science Symposium. This is the night when students in the High School's science research classes share with the community the research projects that they have been working on.
The night opened with four of the seniors presenting their research studies in the auditorium. Dr. Michele Sugantino, the teacher who started and developed the science research program into what it is today, opened the program with a few remarks and then turned over the microphone to the students. The seniors took turns as masters of ceremony while others shared their findings. Photos from the presentations can be found below.
The night is set up like a science fair with High School students of all ages sharing their work. All of the students in the Science Research courses set up displays in the Monroe E. Haas Instruction Media Center. Students, parents and community members were welcome to walk through the displays in both areas and ask students questions about their projects.
