BBHS Robotics Team Trains the Next Generation of Programmers

Students at the Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School became Junior Jellyfish as part of an afterschool program hosted by the Blind Brook High School Robotics Team. The team, whose name is the Jellyfish, created an afterschool course where students learned about robotics and coding. The students built and programmed robots using the same equipment that the High School students used. The course culminated in a tournament where the students showed what their robots could do. 

The High School Jellyfish created this program as a way to get students interested in STEAM-based learning and to start grooming the next generation of robotics enthusiasts. Photos from the event can be seen below.
