Fifth Grade Students Take Part In The DARE Graduation

The Fifth Grade students at the Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School took part in a graduation ceremony from the D.A.R.E. program. The D.A.R.E. program is designed to help children make good decisions in life, particularly regarding drugs and violence. The program is run by the Rye Brook Police Department through Blind Brook Schools. Sergeant Christopher Ruhe, who ran the D.A.R.E. program at the B.M.P. Ridge Street School, and Kathleen Gerber, the B.M.P. Ridge Street School guidance counselor, presided over this year's graduation ceremonies.
