Blind Brook Board Of Education Honors Retirees And Tenure Recipients

At the June 17th Board of Education meeting, four retirees as well as four tenure recipients were honored. As part of the annual celebration of teaching that the Board holds every year, The Board recognized High School Music Teacher Howard Levy, First Grade Teacher Maureen Jackson, Custodian/Bus Driver Jerry Klice and Custodian/Bus Driver Ralph Hernandez for their many years of service to the District and wished them well in their retirements. The Board also honored B.M.P. Ridge Street School ENL Teacher Monique Pedersen, Middle School ENL Teacher Ingrid Merli, Middle School Mathematics Teacher Alessandra Tamburro and High School Special Education Teacher Jenette Conetta for being recommended for tenure. A small celebration took place prior to the Board meeting to recognize all honorees.
