2023 Budget Revote

Voting will be in-person on June 20, 2023 between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm in the Old Gym at Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School, 390 North Ridge St., Rye Brook, NY.  

Am I a Qualified Voter?

A qualified voter must be 18 years old by the day of the vote, a citizen of the United States and a resident within the Blind Brook-Rye School District for 30 days immediately preceding the vote, and not otherwise prohibited from voting.

How do I register to Vote?

Register online with the New York Department of Motor Vehicles.  Individuals, 16 years or older may pre-register and will automatically become active on their 18th birthday.

Register by mail by submitting the NYS Voter Registration  form to 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601.

Register *for school district elections only* with the District Clerk, on or before June 13, 2023, by appointment; vgroccia@blindbrook.org, 914-937-3600 x1001.

How do I obtain an Absentee Ballot?
 *Application must be submitted in order to receive an Absentee Ballot*
 *Absentee Ballots will be mailed following budget adoption on June 6, 2023*

If you are unable to vote in person, you must submit an absentee ballot application, available here in ENGLISH and SPANISH. Application must be printed, ink signed and returned to the office of the District Clerk, Vivian Groccia, 390 North Ridge Street, Rye Brook, NY 10573. 

Absentee Ballot applications must be completed by the person requesting the ballot and received by mail or in-person at the office of the District Clerk by 2:00 PM on June 13, 2023 if the ballot is to be mailed or by 4:00 PM on Monday, June 19, 2023 if ballot is to be delivered personally.  Absentee ballots will be mailed via First Class.   

When/Where do I return Absentee Ballots?

Absentee Ballots must be returned by 5:00 PM on June 20, 2023 to the District Office, 390 North Ridge Street, Rye Brook, NY. They will be secured until the polls officially close at 9:00 PM and will then be canvassed with the other votes.
