In an effort to enhance communication protocols within the Blind Brook UFSD, beginning tomorrow morning, November 13th, when you log into the eSchool parent portal (https://esdparentportal.lhric.org/) you will be forced to verify your contact information after selecting your student. Please carefully update the information within the portal. Please REMOVE any incorrect/outdated information. This information is synced nightly to School Messenger, the District's notification system and is also used in other applications such as health screening. By failing to complete this process, you may miss important communications from the District as well as not have access to important information such as students records (report cards and transcripts). ALL guardians need to complete this process.
24 hours after you update eSchooldata contact information, please visit School Messenger's webpage (go.schoolmessenger.com) to create an account to manage how you would like to receive notifications from the District. You must utilize the same email address that is listed within eSchoolData to create your account at School Messenger and link you to your student(s). Once you create your account, a verification email will be sent to that address. Once the account is verified and you are logged in, please update your contact preferences by selecting the settings button in the upper left hand corner and selecting preferences. Here you will be able to select how (phone, email, text) you would like to receive different notification types (Emergency, Non-Emergency, School Level). Please note that School Messenger is not used for attendance purposes, although the option will appear within the system options.
