BBHS Student Named Regeneron Scholar

The Blind Brook School District wishes to congratulate High School student Sam Savitt on being named one of the top 300 Scholars in the 80th Regeneron Science Talent Search! Sam's topic was “The Suitability of Vibration Data Loggers for the Development of a Condition-Based Maintenance System for Aircraft and Rotorcraft Operations”

The Scholars were selected from 1,760 students who entered from 611 high schools across 45 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and 10 countries. Sam is now eligible to be selected as one of the top 40 Finalists.

Congratulations to Sam as well as Dr. Sugantino and the Blind Brook High School Science Department for this great accomplishment!
